CTS Logistics publishes Net Zero progress report

CTS Logistics is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. Our first Carbon Reduction Plan outlines how we plan to reduce our environmental impact, with an initial focus on reducing emissions produced by our dedicated fleet and sites.

CTS has already made strides towards carbon neutrality with the purchase of specialist electric vehicles, that have saved approximately 9.5 tonnes of CO₂e since 2024.

We are also exploring the transition to alternative fuels including Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) and have already made improvements to our sites to protect local biodiversity.

The analysis contained in our 2026 report forms a baseline that we’ll use to track our progress, including improving the data we capture to drive change.

Accredited to ISO 14001 Environmental Management, CTS is further regulated by the Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agencies and the Office for Nuclear Regulation to responsibly handle goods that poses a risk to the environment. As a trusted partner to government and high consequence organisations including Defence, Healthcare and secure IT – our specialist solutions for the UK Nuclear industry further support the move away from using fossil fuels, offsetting the carbon impact of every journey we make.

Our future initiatives will recognise the critical role that CTS must also play in reducing the impact of our operations ‘up’, and ‘downstream’. This includes responsible procurement and investment, how our people travel and what happens to our waste.

Progress towards our goals will be monitored, ensuring we continue to deliver the highest standards of service to the global Defence, Nuclear, Healthcare and Secure IT sectors.
