We are now the only specialist logistics company licensed to move nuclear material across both the UK and France, improving nuclear safety and security by removing the need for handling and transfer of nuclear materials between carriers at territorial borders.
All CTS staff have specific training in radiation safety and our security cleared ADR drivers are registered with an HSE Approved Dosimetry Service. Our quality controlled procedures include bespoke UN Class 7 training, instructions, security movement plans, emergency and contingency arrangements. We welcome audit by our clients.
An approved Class B Carrier, CTS has 3 trained Radiation Protection Supervisors supported by an external Radiation Protection Advisor and Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors to ensure, as a team of experts, we always adhere to the latest legislation regarding the protection of classified information, ADR regulations, ONR, IATA and IMDG as well as country, regional, and site-specific regulations.

In addition:
- CTS staff are security cleared by the UK Government and authorised to transport Section 5 weapons, ammunition and security sensitive consignments
- All drivers (a number of whom are ex-military) are security trained and ADR qualified for the transportation of UN Class 1 explosives and UN Class 7 radioactive material
- Every CTS vehicle is specified to safety requirements of EX TYPE II/III for the carriage of explosives
