Safeguarding the UK:
Our Commitment to Secure Handling of Hazardous Cargo

As one of the select few businesses entrusted with handling some of the country’s most restricted resources, we’re proud to serve the UK Government and its citizens and, in turn, do our little bit to help keep the nation safe and secure.

We care deeply about this responsibility, and it’s helped shape our business so that we can offer the highest levels of security at every step of the way. Getting to this point has meant conforming to rigorous standards, achieving multiple governmental and non-governmental accreditations, and continually being appraised regarding processes, procedures and facilities. It’s something we focus on every day, always being able to demonstrate stringent conformity to security procedures for multiple government departments while displaying that all equipment, facilities, workforce and processes are proficient in handling materiel.

So, how are we able to maintain such incredibly high levels of operational performance? Firstly, a proactive approach must be adopted to maintain a deep understanding of any potential risks so that they can be mitigated. Furthermore, risk is an ever-changing landscape, so we have custom-built our operations to detect and, indeed, anticipate any potential threats, whether physical, cyber/digital or human.

Secondly, it’s our objective to always remain ahead of any threat, therefore, our dedication to continuous improvement and innovation of new and emerging technologies such as AI is solid. As the security landscape evolves, we respond with ongoing training to our staff members on new or emerging threats. In a world where security hazards are constantly advancing and becoming more elaborate, our proactive approach is paramount for the safety of our shipments.

Thirdly, there can be no room for error. We work tirelessly to find and eradicate any point of failure in our logistics chain, ensuring subject-matter-experts are involved throughout the planning and that huge levels of detail are assessed. We continue to invest in both people and technology to keep ahead of the curve, and it sits as a core focus for our Board. We’ll continue to do whatever is necessary to support the UK’s security and safety, and we’re honoured to be able to play a small part in making that happen.
